About the 10 Day Clean Eating Challenge


When I first learned to cook fat burning and delicious meals without spending a lot of time in the kitchen my entire life changed. When our divorce was final in 2016 I really felt as if I had hit rock bottom.  Reality sunk in and I was a busy 50/50 single mom.  Suddenly the healthy habits I had developed dropped off my priority list and I gained 15 pounds which was awful for my joints and confidence. Not to mention all of the inflammation I was causing in my body. I really felt awful.

Since I had hit bottom, I really had nowhere to go but up! So, I started to research different eating strategies, diet fads and information about fat loss.  Now, this has been a lifelong study for me because I’ve been a personal trainer for a very long time.  I’m always looking for better ways for my clients to get healthy … fast. But this time was different, it was for me.

Then I stumbled on some promising research about the ketogenic diet and the benefits on cognition, inflammation, blood sugar stabilization and fat loss.  I started to think that maybe Dr. Atkins really had something! In early 2017 I started to test a research the ketogenic diet on myself.

Immediately I felt more energy less brain fog, I was happier, and was burning belly fat which in the past was almost an impossibility.  I quickly realized that eating a high fat and low-carb diet was going to be easy to maintain as a busy mom and entrepreneur because I was eating much less food than I had before when I always preached 6 meals a day.  My grocery bills are much smaller and I'm spending much less time in the kitchen which means more quality time for my daughter and I.

I created the 10 day clean eating challenge to introduce my friends and family to this healthy lifestyle that could potentially change their lives in a very healthy way. My plan is a modified ketogenic diet because traditional ketogenic diets are very difficult to maintain and quite honestly eating 70% of your calories fat isn’t what I call fun.

In the past, I've preached weekly meal prepping, grocery shopping and measuring everything! It became more of a chore than a lifestyle and that’s where my modified keto plan (aka The 10 Day Clean Eating Challenge) was born. In my first 10 days on my modified keto diet I lost more weight than I had in the past year trying to follow a meal plan that consisted of 6 meals a day using measuring containers and once per day healthy meal replacement shake.

I also lost 4 inches of fat from my belly. I’m excited to share my system for lifelong fat loss with you. Weekly meal prep, exogenous ketones and living a low carb/high fat lifestyle has transformed my life and the lives of thousands of clients around the world.
